Smart lighting planning for Greater Boston homes
Light for breakfast, a quiet evening and the way home at night. We help turn a lighting wish list into a room-by-room plan, from a few compatible smart lamps to a future whole-home lighting system.
Everyday comfort
Give each room a few useful scenes.
Start with what the room is for: cooking, reading, watching a film or getting ready for bed. We help decide which lights should move together and which deserve their own control, then configure compatible plug-in lamps within the agreed scope.
- Reading and evening scenes
- Schedules for compatible lamps
- Simple wall-control preferences
- Brightness and color-temperature goals
Whole-home thinking
Plan the controls before the switches.
Dimmers, occupancy sensors and centralized controls need to suit the lamps, circuits and household. For an installed lighting system, our concept brief records the intended scenes and controls for an electrician or lighting specialist to verify and implement.
- Room and circuit wish list
- Arrival and good-night concepts
- Motion-based hallway lighting
- Exterior and landscape lighting goals
Older homes
Make the first phase fit the house.
An existing switch location does not tell you everything about its wiring. Keep electrical assessment with the appropriate provider; use our planning conversation to identify priority rooms and avoid buying controls before compatibility is checked.
- Keep manual operation understandable
- Separate hardware and installation budgets
- Coordinate future shades and audio
- Document the next phase
Questions before booking
Do you replace hardwired switches?
Our current offer is planning and compatible plug-in device setup. Fixed switches, new circuits and other electrical installation require a separately engaged qualified provider.
Can lights follow a daylight schedule?
Some systems support time-based brightness and color changes. Availability depends on the lamps and control platform; we do not promise medical or sleep benefits.
